About Wounded Warriors Project®
Launched in 2003, Wounded Warrior Project® began as a grassroots effort to provide care and comfort for wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Since then, their organization has grown into the nation’s leading nonprofit for post-9/11 ill or injured veterans. Thanks to the ongoing commitment of their donors and supporters, they have provided a wide range of programs and services to empower warriors’ social, physical, mental, and financial wellness.
